Tools for Creativity and Innovation:
Samples:
  • Digital storytelling tools like Audacity, Make Beliefs Comix, Photo Story 3, PowerPoint, Storybird, or Windows Live MovieMaker allow students to demonstrate new understanding through their own narratives.  This Make Beliefs Comix example shows how a student can use tools such as these to create a product that demonstrates their understanding of a curricular concept.
  • Creativity tools like ArtPad, Pixie 3, Publisher, and Windows Live MovieMaker encourage students to elaborate and refine ideas to create their own content.  In this Pixie example, a third grader used the drawing tools and clip art to illustrate a multiplication problem.
